SJVN commences Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 across all projects and offices

Bhupender Gupta, CMD, SJVN urged SJVN employees to take proactive participation in all activities being organised by SJVN during ‘Swachhta Pakhwada 2026’ across all its projects and offices.
Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), administered Swachhta Pledge to employees at Corporate Headquarters in Shimla in benign presence of Sh. Pankaj Porwal, CVO, SJVN and other senior officials.
On the occasion, Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma stated through collective efforts, SJVN aims to promote sustainable practices and create greater awareness among local communities.
Parthajit De, Director (Finance), administered the pledge to employees at Liaison Office, Delhi. Similar pledge ceremonies were organised across all projects and offices of SJVN strengthening organisation’s commitment towards cleanliness, sanitation and sustainable practices.
In line with the directions of Ministry of Power, Government of India, Swachhta Pakhwada, 2026 will be observed from 16th to 31st May 2026, for which various cleanliness and awareness activities have been planned. This includes cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, plantation activities, declamation competition, community outreach programmes and initiatives related to waste management and environmental conservation.
Through these initiatives, SJVN continues to strengthen its commitment towards the vision of ‘Swachh Bharat’ and sustainable development while encouraging active participation from employees, students and local communities.
