Government School Teacher Faces FIR for Slapping Students in Classroom

Shimla, March 25, 2025: A shocking incident has surfaced from a government school in Shimla, where a female teacher allegedly forced students to slap each other as punishment. When the slaps weren’t “hard enough,” the teacher reportedly demonstrated the act herself by slapping the class monitor and two other students.

Following the incident on March 24, 2025, the mother of a traumatized student filed a complaint at Chhota Shimla Police Station. An FIR has been registered under BNS Section 115(2) and the Juvenile Justice Act (Section 75).

The victim’s mother stated that the teacher regularly intimidates students, claiming she is a government employee and cannot be questioned. The incident has raised serious concerns about student safety in government schools.

Shimla SP Sanjeev Gandhi confirmed the FIR and an ongoing investigation.
