During his visit to Kullu district, BJP State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan planted trees with party workers at booth number 75 of the Manali Assembly constituency. He said during the event that this small step towards environmental protection and a green future is a big pledge for future generations.
This program was organized as part of the ongoing service fortnight, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. District President Amit Sood, State Spokesperson Akhilesh Kapoor, and Suresh were specially present.
State Media Coordinator Karna Nanda said that the power of an organization blossoms where workers stand as ascetics. This philosophy has been the core of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life journey and his socio-organizational approach. Narendra Modi always considered workers the heart of the organization and made preparing, training, and empowering them his primary task. He believed that organization is not just a structure, but the true strength lies in the ability, discipline, and dedication of the workers within that structure. Narendra Modi became an RSS pracharak in the early 1970s. After the Emergency in 1977, when he emerged as a skilled organizer as a Vibhag Pracharak, the mainstay of his work was worker development. In the 1980s, the organization’s expansion in Gujarat was very limited. At that time, even establishing a branch in a single taluka was considered a major achievement. However, young Narendra Modi had a different vision. He believed that every village should have a branch. To achieve this, he assigned responsibility for each branch to a worker and periodically monitored its progress. Who was the main teacher, what activities took place, who was absent from the branch, and why—all these details were meticulously monitored. In 1985, to mark the Sangh’s 60th anniversary, a massive camp was held in Karnavati (Ahmedabad). Approximately 5,000 workers attended the camp. In preparation for the camp, Modi traveled from village to village, contacting young people and encouraging them to buy uniforms. As a result, hundreds of new young people not only attended the camp but also permanently joined the organization. This infused a new energy into the Gujarat Sangh and marked the beginning of the creation of a large number of workers. Modi taught workers to work in a planned and systematic manner.
