Stampede at Tirupati Temple: 6 Dead, Several Injured

A stampede occurred at Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati Temple near the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan ticket counters during the annual Vaikunta Ekadasi festival, leaving six dead and several injured. The incident happened due to a sudden rush of devotees for free tickets.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh CM expressed condolences. The state government has announced compensation for the victims’ families. An investigation is underway, and safety measures are being reviewed to prevent future incidents.
