St. Bede’s College Students Stage S.R. Harnot’s ‘Nadi Gayab Hai’ on Hindi Day
Shimla, September 15, 2026: Students of the prestigious St. Bede’s College, Shimla, presented a captivating stage adaptation of acclaimed Himachali writer S.R. Harnot’s widely discussed story ‘Nadi Gayab Hai’ on the occasion of Hindi Day.
The play highlighted the pressing issues of environmental protection and the conflict between development and destruction. Students from B.Com, B.A. and B.B.A. programmes showcased their creativity and acting skills through the performance.
The presentation also underlined the contemporary relevance of Hindi as a powerful medium of expression and social awareness, beyond its traditional role as a carrier of culture.
The students’ dedication and creative efforts were widely appreciated.
