Shamrock Roses School Celebrates Independence Day with Enthusiasm

The school principal, Preeti Chuttani, addressed the students, reminding them of the significance of August 15, 1947, when India gained independence from British colonial rule after a long struggle. She emphasized that Independence Day is an important occasion to remember and honor the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who fought for the nation’s liberty.
During the celebration, sweets and the national flag were distributed among the students. The event featured various cultural programs, including dance, songs, drama, folk dance, and traditional Pahari dance. Students who secured first, second, and third places in the Punjabi dance competition were awarded prizes.
