JUIT Hosts Principals’ Meet in Ambala to Promote STEM Leadership and Innovation-Driven Education

Ambala, May 19: successfully organised a Principals’ Meet at Ramada by Wyndham, Ambala, bringing together school principals, academic leaders and educators for discussions on the future of education, STEM leadership and innovation-driven learning in India.

The programme was held under the leadership of JUIT CEO Manu Bhaskar Gaur and was graced by Vice Chancellor Rajendra Kumar Sharma.

The event was organised in collaboration with the Ambala Progressive Sahodaya School Council and the Haryana Progressive Schools’ Conference. Prominent dignitaries associated with the programme included Dr. Vikas Kohli, Prashant Munjal, Saurabh Kapoor and Pawan Acharya.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma shared insights on technical education, innovation-led learning and the evolving role of higher educational institutions in preparing students for future technological challenges. He emphasised the importance of practical learning, research orientation and industry-academia collaboration.

Pawan Acharya appreciated the academic environment, discipline and value-based educational ecosystem at JUIT and highlighted the university’s efforts in integrating Indian values and ethics with modern technological education.

Dr. Vikas Kohli stressed the importance of STEM education and noted that the quality of student learning is directly linked to the teaching methodologies adopted by educators and school leaders.

A key highlight of the event was a technical session by Tiratha Raj Singh on the theme “Transforming Education: STEM Leadership under NEP 2020.”

During the session, Prof. Singh discussed the growing significance of STEM education, multidisciplinary learning, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, innovation-driven pedagogy and technology-enabled teaching practices in line with the National Education Policy 2020.

The meet served as a valuable platform for interaction and collaboration between JUIT and leading educational institutions, with participants appreciating the university’s commitment towards academic excellence, research and transformative education.

The event was coordinated with the support of Dr. Ankush Tanta, Admission Officer, and Praveen Kumar, Admission Coordinator, while the overall programme was conducted by Prof. Tiratha Raj Singh.
