Bold Claims of the Government Leaders During Celebrations Prove Hollow,” Says Jairam
1 min readShimla: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur criticized the state government for failing to deliver on its promises. In a statement issued from Shimla, Thakur pointed out that the government’s tall claims, such as resolving all pending recruitment results within a month, have not materialized. He accused the Congress-led government of lacking coordination and transparency, leaving thousands of unemployed and trained youth waiting for results.
Thakur questioned whether the exaggerated claims made during the two-year celebration in Bilaspur were merely attempts to garner headlines. He further accused the government of deceiving the public, failing to fulfill its promise of providing one lakh government jobs annually, and instead, abolishing over 1.5 lakh vacant positions.
Highlighting issues in outsourcing recruitment, Thakur criticized the government for being rebuked by the High Court for irregularities. He accused the administration of being ineffective and dependent on lies to sustain its image, stating that the public is beginning to see through its facade.
Meanwhile, Thakur met BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda in Delhi to discuss developmental issues related to Himachal Pradesh.
