Amar Ujala Bhavishya Jyoti Samman Honors Himachal’s Brightest Young Minds

Shimla/Reckong Peo, June 10: Academic excellence took center stage as the Amar Ujala Bhavishya Jyoti Samman Samaroh 2026, powered by Bahra University, celebrated meritorious students from across Himachal Pradesh in grand ceremonies held at Kinnaur and Shimla.

The Kinnaur event, hosted at Hotel Silk Route, Reckong Peo, saw participation from over 590 students and was attended by Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Sharma as the chief guest. District toppers were felicitated for their outstanding academic achievements in the presence of senior education officials.

The Shimla edition, held at the HPU Auditorium, brought together more than 600 students and parents. ADC Shimla Sachin Sharma attended as chief guest, alongside officials from the education department.

Motivational speaker and Bahra University Director Students’ Welfare, Anurag Avasthi, encouraged students to pursue excellence with dedication, discipline and a commitment to nation-building. He highlighted the immense potential of Himachal Pradesh’s youth to excel at national and international levels.

The twin events reflected a shared commitment by Amar Ujala and Bahra University to recognize academic achievement and inspire the next generation of leaders, innovators and changemakers.
