Cleanliness Drive Organised by Regional Laboratory, PCB Shimla With IGMC Shimla
Shimla, Aug 13 – A cleanliness drive was organised by Regional Laboratory, PCB Shimla along with IGMC Shimla on 13.8.21. Municipal waste including plastic waste was collected near Cancer Hospital IGMC Shimla and near Dental College. About 300 kg of MSW including single use plastic was collected in gunny bags. No plastic bag was used in the cleanliness drive. Dr Janak , Sr. Medical Superintendent Dr Rao Dy Medical Supeintendent, Sh Khem Raj , Sanatory Supervisor and his team was present in cleanliness drive along with all the staff of Regional Laboratory PCB Shimla.
Lot of single use plastic bags were noticed on the hill slope near cancer hospital where free langar service is organised. Dr Janak, SMS encouraged the staff for the cleanliness activity for good health and good environment . The Sr Scientific Officer , PCB thanked all participant for devoting their precious time despite huge paitent rush in IGMC Shimla.
