JUIT Concludes ICIIP–2025 : Strengthening Global Research in Intelligent Imaging and AI

The Eighth International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP–2025), hosted by Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, concluded with resounding success, reinforcing its stature as a global platform for innovation in image processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent information systems. The three-day event showcased the powerful synergy between science, engineering and emerging technologies in addressing real-world challenges and enabling sustainable innovation.
Inaugurated on November 27, 2025, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. R. K. Sharma, the conference welcomed Chief Guest Prof. L. D. Behera, Director, IIT Mandi, whose keynote address inspired researchers to expand the horizons of AI-driven imaging. The event was attended by university leadership, senior academicians and delegates from India and abroad. The organising committee—led by Prof. Vivek Sehgal, Dr. Amit Jakhar, and Dr. Arvind Kumar—successfully steered the conference with strong faculty support.
Key highlights included expert keynote sessions, presentations by global researchers, interactive technical sessions and valuable networking opportunities. Participants appreciated the conference’s academic rigour and JUIT’s commitment to fostering international collaboration.
