IPL Star Pankaj Jaswal Inspires Young Cricketers at Rising Star Academy, Mehatpur

Mehatpur (Una): Young trainees at Rising Star Cricket Academy witnessed an inspiring session as IPL and Delhi Premier League player Pankaj Jaswal visited the academy and interacted closely with budding cricketers.

During the visit, Jaswal shared valuable insights into fast bowling, focusing on key aspects such as run-up, line and length, and pace control. Drawing from his extensive experience of representing Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket for over a decade, he guided the trainees with practical tips and real-game understanding.

The interaction turned into an engaging learning session, with young players keenly absorbing techniques from the seasoned pacer. Jaswal also emphasized the importance of discipline, consistent practice, and dedication for achieving success at higher levels of the sport.

Academy Managing Director Dr. Sumit Kumar Sharma highlighted that Jaswal frequently visits the academy and mentors students, adding immense value to their training. He noted that exposure to experienced professionals plays a crucial role in shaping the confidence and skills of young athletes.

Currently, around 30 students are undergoing training at the academy. The trainees described the session as highly motivating and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn directly from a professional cricketer.
