12 HP Police Officers Transferred Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections Announcement

Shimla, March 15: The Himachal Pradesh government, a day before the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, issued transfer and posting orders for 12 officers of the Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS). The notification was issued by the Home Department.

According to the notification, HPPS officer Nishant Singh Negi, awaiting posting, has been appointed as Commandant (Home Guard) in Kullu, Vinod Kumar as Commandant (Home Guard) in Chamba, and Bhupendra Singh Negi as SP (Security) CID Shimla. Similarly, Amit Sharma has been appointed as Additional SP Vigilance Sirmaur, Ashish Sharma as Additional SP Vigilance Shimla, Shweta as Additional SP IRBn Pandoh, Ramesh Kumar as Additional SP Anti Narcotics Task Force Shimla, Taranjeet Singh as Additional SP IRBn Bangarh Una, Kuldeep Kumar as DSP Vigilance Solan, Ram Prasad Jaswal as SDPO Jawalamukhi, Kamal Kishor as IGP SR Shimla, and Priyank Gupta as DSP Vigilance Mandi.

Meanwhile, HPPS officer Vikram Chauhan will report to Police Headquarters; separate transfer orders will be issued for him. All officers have been instructed to join duty immediately at their new locations.
