Fraudulent Job Acquisition: Employee Accused of Fabricating Age Documents
1 min readUna, February 16: A case has been registered by the police based on a complaint alleging that an employee in the Welfare Department secured a job by falsifying age documents.
According to the complaint lodged by Abhishek Thakur, a resident of Barnoh, the accused employee, Ramesh Kumar, acquired a position in the sports quota. Thakur stated that on February 13, 2018, an advertisement was issued by the Himachal Pradesh Governor’s office for reserved positions in the Welfare Department for athletes. In all official documents submitted for government service, Ramesh Kumar claimed his age to be July 24, 1979. However, his actual date of birth is October 3, 1974.
This revelation was made through records from Ramesh Kumar’s primary school. Additionally, Abhishek Thakur alleged discrepancies in the medical certificates provided by Ramesh Kumar regarding his fitness.
Thakur has urged the police to thoroughly investigate the matter and take legal action against the accused in accordance with the law.
Confirming the case, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Bhatia stated that an investigation has been initiated into the incident. Further legal actions will be taken accordingly.
