Wanted criminal arrested by Una police

Una, Mar 22 – Haroli police of the Una district have arrested one Ram Kumar alias Rama s/o Harmesh Lal from Baliwa, he was wanted by the police since the last two years.
Kumar hails from Kot village of Garhshankar, Punjab.

He was wanted by the police for snatching golden ornaments from a woman along with two of his other accomplices.

The police caught all three accused and presented them in court. But two of them were later declared absconders by the court. One of whom, Charanjit, was arrested by the police from Una a week back.

In 2020, the court declared Ram Kumar alias Rama a fugitive criminal as he was wanted by the police for running from the court in the case of snatching.

SHO Sunil Sankhyan said the accused would be present in a local court for further action against him.
