MoU signed with Medswan Foundation

Medswan Foundation, a Bihar based Ambulance service provider, and Shoolini University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration as part of corporate social responsibility initiative.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Ashok Dasson, State Head of Medswan Foundation in Himachal Pradesh, and Prof. PK Khosla, Chancellor, Shoolini University. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has appointed M/s Medswan Foundation as the implementing agency for the operation and maintenance of the NAS-108 and JSSK-102 Ambulance Services in the state.
Shoolini University will lend its expertise and support to Medswan Foundation’s Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and ambulance employees in order to bridge the skill gap and prepare them for services in Emergency Ambulance Services.
The response centre for the State of Himachal Pradesh is situated at Dharampur in District Solan. It has a training facility wherein training on emergency skills is imparted to the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who are then further deployed in the ambulances to give proper pre-hospital care to the patient/ victim while the patient is transported to the nearest health institution.
