Workshop Organized by NABARD in Bohli
Solan, Jan 4 – A workshop for self-help groups was organized by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) at Bohli in Solan district today. This information was given by District Development Manager of NABARD, Ashok Chauhan.
Ashok Chauhan said that the concept of self-help groups was highlighted in detail in the workshop. In the workshop, brief information was provided on transparency in the responsibilities of office bearers of self-help groups, books of account and operations etc. Information about various schemes being implemented by NABARD was also given in the workshop.
He said that in the workshop, the participants were informed about Rural Mart, Haat as well as micro-entrepreneurship development training program and farmers producer organization.
In the workshop, self-help groups were provided training by Anju to prepare books of accounts, proceedings register.
Rohit Kashyap, Director, UCO RCetti, provided information about the training program being run by UCO RCetti. KK, the manager of the district’s leading bank UCO Bank Jaswal informed about the social security schemes being implemented by banks, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Kisan Credit Card.
