Una Gets 50 Electric Buses, Deputy CM Flags Off E-Bus Service

Una, August 3: Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri flagged off five electric buses from the Una depot, including a new service to Dera Baba Rudranand Dham. As part of the state’s green transport initiative, Una has been allocated 50 of the 297 newly inducted electric buses. The Hamirpur parliamentary constituency has received around 125 e-buses, with services set to expand to rural areas. Charging infrastructure has also been established across Una district, while plans for a modern city centre and an HRTC tyre retreading plant were also announced.
