Shimla Filmmaker Aryan Harnot Honoured with BIG Impact Award 2026 by Governor

Shimla, May 24: Talented actor and filmmaker Aryan Harnot from Shimla has been honoured with the prestigious “BIG Impact Award 2026” for his outstanding contribution to acting and film direction.

The award was presented by Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta during a grand ceremony held at Hotel Radisson, Shimla on Sunday. The event was organised by 95 BIG FM to recognise individuals making remarkable contributions in their respective fields.

Senior officials of BIG FM, including the Executive Director, along with prominent personalities from the city, were present during the ceremony.

Aryan Harnot has earned recognition as a versatile actor through his performances in popular television serials such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Phulwa, Kamna, Tum Dena Saath Mera, Parvarrish, Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain and Sajan Ghar. Apart from acting, he has also established himself as a writer and filmmaker.

As a director, his short films Keel and Ram Bharose have received critical acclaim and won recognition at several national and international film festivals.

Expressing gratitude after receiving the honour, Aryan Harnot said the award belongs to his home state and to everyone who supported and believed in his creative journey. He said presenting stories rooted in Himachal Pradesh on national platforms has been a matter of pride for him.

The recognition has been widely appreciated by members of the creative community and film enthusiasts across the state.
