Persons with Disabilities Can Avail Home Loans up to ₹50 Lakh at Concessional Interest Rates

Dharamshala, June 10: The District Welfare Officer, Kangra, has informed that the Himachal Pradesh Minorities Finance and Development Corporation, in collaboration with the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), New Delhi, is providing concessional home loans to persons with disabilities for house construction and purchase.

Under the scheme, loans up to ₹50 lakh are available at subsidized interest rates. Loans up to ₹50,000 carry an interest rate of 5% per annum, while higher loan slabs are available at 6% and 7% annual interest rates, depending on the loan amount.

The repayment period has been fixed at a maximum of 10 years, which may be extended in special cases.
