New DC Shimla commences office

Aditya Negi, IAS offficer(2013 batch) took over as Deputy Commissioner of Shimla today. In 2013 after clearing the administrative services exam, Aditya Negi was given the post of Deputy Magistrate, Ghumarwin in Bilaspur district. During his tenure he has served in many important departments and government institutions. Currently he was posted as Member Secretary, H.P. State Pollution Control Board.

Addressing the media persons, Aditya Negi stressed on the need to intensify the slow pace of development plans of the state government. He further stated that the support of all the other office bearers and co-workers is a must to achieve the target of upliftment of particular sections of society using the programs and policies of the government.

He also appealed to the people of the district to follow the special standard operating procedure issued by the government.
