Man Drugged and Robbed After Offering Lift

A shocking incident occurred near Bhaged under Ghumarwin police station in Himachal Pradesh. Vikas Chand, a resident of Amar Pur, reported that on December 26, 2024, he was driving from Amar Pur to Ghumarwin when an unknown man requested a lift. After offering the lift, the man gave Vikas some snacks, which made him unconscious.

When Vikas regained consciousness, he found himself in an alley without his wallet, phone, documents, or car. Later, his car was discovered near a dhaba in Majhasu, but the documents and other belongings were missing. A shopkeeper found him in the alley and helped him contact his hotel manager, Jassi, who arranged clothes and assistance.

DSP Ghumarwin, Chandrapal Singh, confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
