Himachal Government Reshuffles IAS, HPAS Officers in Major Administrative Overhaul

The Himachal Pradesh Government has ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 18 IAS officers and 16 HPAS officers with immediate effect in the public interest. The transfers, issued by the Department of Personnel, involve key changes across departments, district administrations and public sector undertakings.
Among the prominent changes, Dr. Abhishek Jain has been given the additional charge of Financial Commissioner (Appeals), while Sudesh Kumar Mokhta has been posted as Secretary (Cooperation). Several Deputy Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisional Officers and heads of government corporations have also been reassigned. The HPAS reshuffle includes transfers of Additional Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Settlement Officers, Executive Directors, Sub-Divisional Officers and other senior officers across the state.
The government said the transfers have been made with immediate effect to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve governance across Himachal Pradesh.
