District Ayurvedic Hospital Governing Body Approves Revised Service Charges, Health Camps
Chamba, August 25: A meeting of the Governing Body of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti of the District Ayurvedic Hospital was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal at the DC Office conference hall.
The meeting reviewed the hospital’s activities and approved measures to strengthen its services and revenue generation. Repswal directed the hospital authorities to organise regular special health check-up camps in different wards of Chamba town in coordination with the Municipal Council to improve access to healthcare services.
The Governing Body approved revised charges for various services, including a ₹10 patient registration slip, ₹200 for a seven-day medical fitness certificate, ₹100 for a driving licence fitness certificate, ₹180 for food-handler medical fitness and gun licence certification, ₹30 for Swarnaprashan and ₹1,000 for the medical examination under the First Aid Course. Charges for 15 different blood tests were also approved.
The meeting also granted post-facto approval for expenditure of ₹11.43 lakh during 2026-27 and approved a pending payment proposal of ₹1.46 lakh.
Financial approvals were also granted for construction of a Panchakarma facility, laboratory reagents, essential supplies, operational arrangements, biomedical waste management and sanitation.
District Ayush Officer Dr Anita Sharma welcomed the participants, while Medical Officer Dr Kulwinder Sandhu presented key information about the hospital. Dr Deepika conducted the proceedings. Government and non-government members of the Governing Body attended the meeting.
