Digital Museum at Bantony Castle Welcomes First School Educational Visit

Shimla, July 18, 2026: Students and teachers from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Portmore, Shimla, visited the Digital Museum at Bantony Castle as part of an educational tour, becoming the first school group to explore the museum since its inauguration.

The students experienced Himachal Pradesh’s rich history, archaeology, folk culture, art, architecture, and natural heritage through advanced digital exhibits, interactive displays, audio-visual presentations, and immersive technology. They described the visit as informative, engaging, and inspiring.

The museum aims to showcase the state’s cultural heritage through modern digital technology, encouraging experiential learning and fostering awareness about history, culture, and heritage conservation among young learners.
