Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh announced that the party will soon declare appointments for all organizational positions, including district and block-level office bearers. The groundwork has been completed, and final decisions will be made after discussions with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, and senior party leaders.

Speaking at the Rajiv Bhavan party headquarters in Shimla, Singh stated that she would soon meet newly appointed AICC in-charge Rajni Patil in Delhi. She acknowledged the efforts of former in-charge Rajeev Shukla in securing Congress’s victory in the state and assured that the party would continue to function under Patil’s leadership with unity.

Singh emphasized that dedicated leaders, youth, women, and party workers would be given key responsibilities in the restructured organization. With municipal and panchayat elections due later this year and the 2027 assembly elections ahead, the party is gearing up for electoral preparedness. She stressed that only a strong organization could ensure electoral success and that committed leaders and workers must be duly recognized.

Additionally, commenting on the appointment of a woman CM in Delhi, Singh recalled that Congress had also appointed Sheila Dikshit, under whose 15-year tenure Delhi witnessed record development. She remarked that time would tell how successful BJP’s woman CM would be and whether the party fulfills its promises to the people of Delhi.
