CM felicitate people on Constitution Day

Shimla, Nov. 26 – Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has felicitated the people of the State on the occasion of Constitution Day and urged the people to reaffirm themselves to obey and respect the Constitution of India and keep the spirit of the Constitution alive.

Chief Minister said that Constitution Day, also known as National Law Day, was celebrated on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. He said that it was on this day in 1949, that the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950.
