The Deputy Commissioner gave standing instructions to the SDMs of the district to ensure timely resolution of revenue cases older than two years. DC Rana was presiding over a meeting held in the auditorium of DC office. He further stated that the progress of all such matters should be uploaded on the revenue court monitoring system for review.
He further stressed the need for updating and uploading the data pertaining to Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, launched for the welfare and benefit of farmers as soon as possible. He said that 15 new libraries are being planned to be set up in the district so that the students and youths can be benefited.
In view of the scarcity of water and fodder, the SDM was also instructed to take the necessary action plan in this direction. Along with this, they were also instructed to impose restrictions on the use of plastic and take stern actions against people who litter and make the environment dirty and unhealthy.
DC Rana said that while hydropower projects attract employment and bring investment, local people and the environment should be their utmost priority. He also discouraged the use of pressure horns in vehicles.
He also stated that all the queries and complaints raised via Chief Minister Helpline and e-Samadhan should be dealt with in time so that the grievances of people can be resolved. He further directed the health department to undertake relevant activities to create awareness regarding the Covid-19 situation.
