8600 consumers will benefit from the substation built at cost of Rs 4.54 crore: Kewal Singh Pathania

33/11 KV substation inaugurated in Darini

Shahpur, September 25: MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania on Thursday inaugurated the 33/11 KV power substation constructed at a cost of Rs 4.54 crore in Darini Panchayat of Dharkandi in Shahpur assembly constituency.
Addressing the crowd on this occasion, Kewal Singh Pathania said that this substation will benefit approximately 8,600 consumers in eight panchayats of the Dharkandi area. This will solve the long-standing problem of low voltage in the area and ensure better and uninterrupted power supply to the people.
He thanked the Chief Minister for providing adequate funds for this project.

Pathania said that a new 63 kVA transformer has been installed at a cost of ₹10 lakh to address the low voltage problem in Kutharna. Meanwhile, 25 kVA transformers in Ruled and Har Boh have been upgraded to 63 kVA at a cost of approximately ₹25 lakh.

He said that work is in progress to improve the electricity system in Lahdi and Ghatarda, which will be completed soon.
He said that the Darini substation will strengthen the power supply system in the area. Additionally, an alternative power supply system has been established from Shahpur to maintain power supply in case of emergency.
