Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, successfully hosted the HR Conclave 2025 on May 2, bringing together top HR leaders, corporate professionals, and academic experts to foster collaboration between industry and academia. The event focused on the challenges and strategies in talent acquisition, workplace readiness, and the integration of technology into HR practices.

Key dignitaries including Mr. Narinder Ahluwalia (EVP, Covalience), Mr. Debashish Ghosh (Sr. VP, Berkadia), and Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma (Vice Chancellor, JUIT), along with senior JUIT faculty and staff, inaugurated the event with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Mr. Ahluwalia delivered the first keynote on “From Campus to Corporate,” focusing on equipping fresh graduates for professional expectations, while Mr. Ghosh’s keynote on “Generative AI in Cyber Threats” ignited discussions on the HR implications of emerging technologies.

Two panel discussions followed: one on the importance of soft skills beyond technical expertise, and another on the critical role of internships and project-based learning in building job readiness. Speakers from leading firms like EY, KPMG, NTPC, and Edifecs contributed deep insights.

The conclave concluded with guest felicitations and a vote of thanks, reaffirming JUIT’s commitment to bridging the gap between academics and industry.
