IEC University Welcomes New Students with Grand Orientation Programme

Baddi, August 5: IEC University, Baddi, marked the beginning of the 2026–27 academic session with a grand orientation programme for newly admitted students. The event commenced with a traditional Havan Yajna and Vedic rituals, attended by the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, deans, faculty members, and students, seeking blessings for a successful academic journey.

The orientation introduced students to the university’s academic framework, anti-ragging policy, disciplinary guidelines, and campus facilities, including smart classrooms, modern laboratories, the digital library, sports complex, and placement cell. Addressing the gathering, the Vice Chancellor emphasized holistic development, research, and innovation, while encouraging students to make the most of the university’s learning opportunities. The programme concluded with departmental visits, helping freshers interact with faculty and peers and begin their campus life with confidence.
