Bahra University Hosts International Convocation 2026 for Global Graduates

Solan, Aug. 18: Bahra University hosted its International Convocation 2026, honouring international students from Nigeria, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Malawi, Ghana, Comoros, Thailand, Nepal and other countries for their academic achievements.

Organised by the university’s International Students Division (ISD), the ceremony saw students receive degrees across disciplines including Law, Management, Pharmacy, Hospitality and Tourism, and Computer Science and Technology.

Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group and Chancellor of Bahra University, Sardar Gurvinder Singh Bahra, congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to use their knowledge, skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully to their respective countries and societies.

The university highlighted that international students not only gained academic and professional exposure but also experienced India’s culture, traditions and diversity. Their presence has further strengthened Bahra University’s international academic environment and global outlook.

Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) R.P. Nanta, Registrar Vineet Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Chaudhary, deans, directors, heads of departments, faculty members and university officials were present at the ceremony.

The convocation marked an important milestone for the graduates as they prepare to begin their professional journeys in their respective countries.
