'Ex-Servicemen Honor Ceremony' organized in Gram Panchayat Batal

Solan Sept 23 :Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said, “We are all grateful to veterans for their supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation.” Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the “Ex-Servicemen Honor Ceremony” organized by the Ex-Servicemen League in the Gram Panchayat Batal of the Arki Assembly constituency today.
Earlier, Sanjay Awasthi paid tribute to the martyrs by offering floral tributes at the Amar Jawan Martyr Memorial.
On this occasion, he honoured the ex-servicemen and expressed gratitude for their invaluable contribution in the service of the nation.
Sanjay Awasthi stated that veterans have dedicated their lives to protecting the nation’s borders. Their sacrifice, dedication, discipline, and commitment to national service will always be inspiring. He stated that the services of the nation’s brave soldiers and veterans will never be forgotten. He assured that every effort will be made to address the problems and demands of veterans by raising them on appropriate platforms.
He urged veterans to inspire the younger generation to join the Indian Army and stay away from drugs. He said that it is essential to raise awareness among youth about their physical development so that they can stay away from drugs and build their future.
On this occasion, the MLA also listened to the public problems of ex-servicemen and local people and directed the officials of the concerned departments to resolve them in a timely and priority manner.
Sanjay Awasthi announced to give Rs 10 lakh for the remaining construction work of Sainik Bhawan Batal and Rs 1 lakh for LED.
President of Ex-Servicemen League Arki, Captain Padam Dev Thakur and officials welcomed the chief guest and apprised the MLA about various issues related to ex-servicemen.
