Final Electoral Rolls Published for Reorganized Gram Panchayats in Chamba

Chamba, April 28: The final electoral rolls for newly created and reorganized Gram Panchayats in Chamba district have been officially published, following a notification by the State Election Commission, Himachal Pradesh. Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (Panchayat) Mukesh Repswal confirmed that the process has been completed across selected panchayat areas in the development blocks of Bhattiyat, Chamba, Mehla, and Salooni.

The updated voter lists include multiple Gram Panchayats across these blocks, prepared with April 1, 2026, as the qualifying date for the upcoming Panchayati Raj Institutions General Elections 2026. The move ensures transparency and readiness for the electoral process at the grassroots level.
