SAI Bilaspur to Conduct Water Sports Selection Trials for Girls on March 1–2

Bilaspur, February 23: The Sports Authority of India (SAI), through its Regional Centre Chandigarh Zirakpur, will organise selection trials for girls under the residential scheme at the SAI-NTPC Water Sports Extension Centre, Kol Dam (Barmana). The trials will be held on March 1 and 2 at the SAI Training Centre, Bilaspur, aiming to identify young talent in rowing, kayaking, and canoeing for national and international-level training. Girls aged 12–18 years are eligible, with preference given to the 12–16 age group. Selected trainees will receive free accommodation, nutrition, education support, medical facilities, sports kits, and competition opportunities under the scheme.
