Sanitation Workers to Get Insurance and Social Security Benefits: DC Bilaspur

Bilaspur, 25 September: Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar directed officials to ensure that all sanitation workers in the district receive benefits under government insurance and pension schemes, including PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Atal Pension Yojana. He emphasized that social security for sanitation workers, who face tough working conditions, is a top priority. Officials were also instructed to provide safety equipment, conduct regular health check-ups, and recognize sanitation workers for their contributions on national occasions.
