Delhi Might Get Sputnik V Covid Vaccine After June 20

Delhi, May 31 – Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said Delhi will probably receive a section of imported Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V after June 20 here today. On May 26, Kejriwal had said the manufacturers of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V are willing to supply the vaccines to Delhi but still, talks are going on about the quantity.

“Sputnik will probably offer vaccines after 20th June. They will start the vaccine production in August. They are importing the vaccines right now, and they will allot a section of their imported vaccines to the Delhi government, ” said Kejriwal while addressing the media after inaugurating a free walk-in COVID-19 vaccination facility for journalists and their families at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in ITO.
