Chamba, May 11 — An inspiring example of youth responsibility and community service comes from Sultanpur locality of Chamba town, where 24-year-old Aniket Kumar is proving that dedication and sincerity can create positive societal change.

Having left formal education after the 10th standard due to family financial constraints, Aniket chose the path of self-employment. Today, he runs a sugarcane juice business using a tricycle cart and earns between ₹50,000 to ₹60,000 per month. His journey began with various odd jobs like car washing, welding, and mechanical work before he availed a government-supported micro-credit scheme (PM SVANidhi) to set up his current venture.

Besides being a successful entrepreneur, Aniket dedicates time every morning and evening to a local temple and takes active interest in spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse, especially among the youth. He believes that “smart work and sincere effort, even at a small scale, can lead to significant positive change in society.”

Aniket urges fellow youth to explore self-employment opportunities, make use of government schemes, and fulfill their duties with integrity to become agents of change.
