Workshop for SHGs held at Mashobra on market success and financial management
Mashobra (Shimla), September 8: The Himachal Pradesh Industries Department organised a one-day workshop for self-help groups (SHGs) at Mashobra under the RAMP programme on “Market Success, Sustainability and Financial Management”.
The workshop focused on helping SHGs identify gaps in their products and businesses and improve their market reach, sales and long-term sustainability. Participants were briefed on product quality, packaging, branding, pricing and understanding customer preferences.
More than 75 participants attended the workshop. Smriti Guleria, Extension Officer, Industries Department, Shimla, was the chief guest, while other department officials were also present.
SHG members actively discussed their products, market-related challenges and areas for improvement. The programme aimed to encourage groups to make their products more competitive, market-oriented and sustainable.
