Weapons, Ammunition and Explosives Banned in Jawalamukhi During Shravan Ashtami Fair

Dharamshala, August 12: To ensure public peace, safety and law and order during the Shravan Ashtami fair at Jawalamukhi Temple, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Jawalamukhi, Sanjeev Sharma has issued orders under Section 163(1) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.

According to the order, a complete ban on carrying and using all types of weapons, ammunition and explosive materials will remain in force within the limits of Jawalamukhi Municipal Council from August 12 to August 24, 2026, during the Shravan Ashtami fair.

The administration has appealed to all concerned to strictly comply with the order to ensure the safety of devotees and the general public and to maintain law and order throughout the fair.
