Una : District Administration Orders Adjustment in School Timings Due to Intense Fog

Una, January 20: In response to the persistent and dense fog affecting visibility, the District Magistrate of Una, Raghav Sharma, has issued an order specifying the revised timings for all government and private primary, middle, and secondary schools in the district. According to the order, the schools will now operate from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM until January 31, 2024.

Highlighting the concern for the health and safety of school children amidst the ongoing severe cold weather conditions, the district administration took this decision in consultation with the Deputy Director of Higher Education. District Magistrate Raghav Sharma emphasized that the adjustment in school timings aims to ensure the well-being of students.

Furthermore, the order mentions that the shortfall in instructional time will be compensated by concluding the morning assembly and lunchtime promptly. The directive is applicable to all government and private primary, middle, and secondary schools in the district.
