Three-Day Skill Development Workshop Organized at Bahra University

Solan, May 13 : Bahra University’s School of Management organized a three-day skill development workshop for MBA, BBA, and B.Com students. The workshop, under the adept guidance of Dr. R.M. Bhagat, Director of Bahra University, aimed to equip students with essential skills and provide insights shared by experts from various fields.

Dr. Bhagat inaugurated the workshop, setting the tone for insightful sessions ahead. The first session featured Dr. Anita Gautam, a senior medical officer from the District Ayurvedic Hospital, Solan, who enlightened students about the importance of yoga. Following her session, yoga instructor J.C. Kaushal demonstrated advanced yoga postures and highlighted their benefits. Additionally, Harshita Dev from Bahra University’s Training and Placement Department delivered a lecture on bio-data construction and organized psychometric games.

On the second day, Dr. Triveni Sharma from SCERT Solan delivered a lecture on “Lifestyle and Psychotherapy in Management Practices.” This was followed by a session by Anurag Awasthi, Director of Marketing and Admissions at Bahra University, who spoke on goal setting for a better future, emphasizing the significance of mental health management and stress reduction among students.

The final day featured a session on “Personality Development and Communication Skills” by Dr. Ruchi Thakur from National Law University, Shimla. Subsequently, students from the School of Management showcased their talents through performances including dramas, advertisement creation, singing, and dancing.

In attendance were department heads Prof. Sulochana Sayal and Dr. Rohit Sablania, along with faculty members and students. Dr. Sulochana Sayal congratulated everyone for the successful program coordination.
