Technical Education Minister presents certificates to HP ITI Trainees on successful completion of Kazakhstan exposure programme

The trainees from Industrial Training Institutes of Himachal Pradesh gained insights into the operations of the small water bottling plant, Rakhat chocolate factory and green market in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as part of an international exposure visit.
Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, who is leading the trainees, said the state government was committed to provide young people with opportunities to gain first-hand exposure to world-class technical education, advanced industries, research, innovation and international workplace practices. He said such programmes help trainees strengthen their technical skills while developing leadership qualities, professionalism, innovation and a global outlook.
He also presented participation certificates to 30 trainees from HP Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) who successfully completed the international exposure programme during the valedictory ceremony held at Almaty Management University.
He said that as part of the programme, the trainees participated in a series of academic sessions at Almaty Management University. Experts delivered lectures on the global economy, monetary policy, cross-cultural communication, professional ethics, sustainable engineering, Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing and green technologies. The sessions also highlighted the importance of effective communication, teamwork, leadership and sustainable industrial development in today’s global workplace.
The Minister said that during the exposure visit, the trainees toured the Samal Water Bottling Plant, where they observed modern water purification systems, automated bottle manufacturing, packaging processes, quality control and food safety standards. At the Rakhat chocolate factory, they gained practical insight into large-scale food processing, chocolate manufacturing, packaging and quality management.
