State government declares public holiday on 20 August
The state government has declared 20 August, 2021 as gazetted public holiday on account of Muharram in place of 19 August, 2021 in the state.
A Spokesperson of the state government said here today that this holiday would not be the holiday within the meaning of Section-25 of Negotiable Instrument Act-1881.
