The three-day Youth Festival “Pralakh-2023,” organized by the student welfare department of APG Shimla University under the leadership of Dr. Neelam Sharma, Dean of Student Welfare, was inaugurated on Monday by Superintendent of Police Shimla, IPS Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi. This youth festival features a wide range of cultural programs and various sports competitions, with top participants being awarded on the final day of the event.
IPS Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi, the Chief Guest at the Youth Festival, addressed the students, participants from various colleges and universities, and the university’s management and administration, emphasizing the need to inspire the younger generation to lead happy, prosperous, and substance-free lives. He stressed the importance of providing the youth with the right knowledge, timely counseling, and the support of society to protect them from the clutches of addiction.
Gandhi mentioned that the modern age is filled with various complexities, and many challenges, especially the menace of
