Slater Debates Begin Amidst Monsoon Magic at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla

The 28th Rev Dr. Samuel Slater Memorial English Debates have commenced at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, bringing together top student debaters from across India and abroad. Traditionally held in October, this year’s edition is being hosted in May for the first time in years. Participants from GEMS Dubai, La Martiniere (Kolkata), Cathedral & John Connon (Mumbai), and local schools like Auckland House and St. Thomas are competing over five days of intense debate and camaraderie.
