Shimla’s Diksha Vashisth Honored with ‘Rashtriya Prerna Doot Award’ in Patna

Shimla Feb 04 : Diksha Vashisth from Shimla received the prestigious ‘Rashtriya Prerna Doot Award’ in Patna for her outstanding contribution to social causes under the ‘Bharat Ki Yuva Shakti – Utsav 2024-25’ initiative. She has actively worked with Umang Foundation in blood donation, mental health awareness, and disability rights. A gold medalist in MA (Psychology) from Himachal Pradesh University, she has represented the state on national and international platforms. She also played a key role in anti-drug campaigns, winning a ₹1.5 lakh prize. The award ceremony honored 30 youth nationwide, attended by dignitaries including former Bihar minister Surendra Ram and IAS officer Ritesh Kumar.
