New ADM Protocol Gyan Sagar Negi Assumes Charge in Shimla

Shimla, July 15: Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HAS) officer Gyan Sagar Negi has assumed charge as Additional District Magistrate (Protocol), pledging to ensure that government welfare schemes effectively reach every eligible beneficiary through transparent and efficient administration.
Negi said the district administration would focus on strengthening coordination among departments, expediting revenue-related matters, improving disaster management and rehabilitation efforts, and ensuring seamless protocol arrangements for official and VIP visits. He also emphasized enhancing communication between the administration and the public to improve awareness and access to government schemes.
A native of Kinnaur, Negi has over two decades of administrative experience, having served as Tehsildar, SDM, District Revenue Officer, ADM Kaza, Executive Director of HIMUDA, Managing Director of HIMFED, Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office, and Registrar of Himachal Pradesh University.
