Shimla to Hold Interviews for Crèche Workers, Helpers on July 22

The District Programme Officer, ICDS Shimla Urban, has announced interviews for the recruitment of nine Crèche Workers and 13 Crèche Helpers for Anganwadi-cum-Crèche Centres in Shimla city. The interviews will be held on July 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. at the office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Urban), Shimla.
According to District Programme Officer Indu Sharma, the vacancies are available at Anganwadi-cum-Crèche Centres in Phagli, Ghoda Sarai, RTO, Tutikandi Shishu Kendra, Summer Hill, Bangala Colony, Chalonthi, Ruldubhatta, Strawberry, Kufatadhar, Sadhanaghati, Bemloi and North Oak. Eligible candidates must be women residing within the beneficiary area of the respective Anganwadi centre, aged between 18 and 35 years as on July 22, 2026. Applicants for Crèche Worker posts must have passed Class 12, while candidates for Crèche Helper posts must have passed Class 10. The annual family income should not exceed ₹50,000. Preference marks will be awarded to eligible candidates under various categories as per government guidelines. The current monthly honorarium is ₹5,500 for Crèche Workers and ₹3,000 for Crèche Helpers.
