Shimla Temple Trusts to Launch Digital Services This Month

Five major temple trusts in Shimla district are set to launch dedicated websites this month, offering devotees easier access to essential services and information. Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap reviewed the project’s progress and directed officials to complete the websites within a week.

The portals will provide details on temple history, religious significance, prayer schedules, festivals, online donations, aarti and special puja bookings, along with grievance redressal and contact information. The websites will be available in both Hindi and English with a focus on user-friendly design, cybersecurity and transparency. Officials also decided that advertisements for filling vacant posts across all five temple trusts will be issued simultaneously.
